Katharine Birbalsingh

First questions : Katharine Birbalsingh believes that there is a problem with UK's education system. Can you identify it within the first three minutes of the video? What is the problem?

_ Katharine Birbalsingh thinks that the system is broken because, like she says, " he keeps poor children poor". She thinks that the responsability isn't respected. Students must be responsable for themself : they must go to the exam.. And punishment, exclusion isn't a solution because it's an excuse for student to not go at school.

Second question : Why does this problem exist according to this teacher? (from 3 min to 4 min 26 sec)
 - Katharine Birbalsingh thinks that nobody respect this system, and system's obligations. People find an excuse about school, and education system.

Third question :What do the government ministers think about this problem? Who is to blame for the condition? (from 4 min 30 till about 6 min)
- The governet ministers is agree with Katharine Birbalsingh. According to him, we did try to support teachers because teachers are very infair.

Fourth question :  Which suggestions does Katharine make to improve the system? (6-7 min)
- The idea is being students responsable for what they do, required exclusions ...

Fifth question:  Which changes would Katharine make in the education system if she were given a choice? (till the end of the video)

- If she were given a choice, Katharine Birbalsingh do more and more power for teachers.

My opinion :

I think that there isn't a big problem in the french system of education. But there is some problems who can be avoided. In effect, since this year the school transport (bus) is paying who can be a very big problem for poor family.
In addition, there are more and more violence at school, regulations of the account between several students, between parents and teachers for reasons of punishement, of dispute about results, or work also. So, to avoid it, I think that w should be in place a security at the enter at school, with security gates or policemen.
Moreover, we say that education is accessible for all, but I think that no. In effect, it's true that school is free for all, but when you are in university ( who is away from your parent), you do have a studio, you do pay for groceries, books to buy for school, pay transport subscription, and it's represent a big cost.
